SHOOT TO KILL!!!

Shoot to Kill – Yeah the big line from Shootout at Lokhandwala.

What amazes me is passion amongst these men!!! What are they made of?!?!!! What is it that makes them go to an extent that they don’t mind killing people?!??!!!

Maya – the man who wants people to fear him, goes ahead to kill people to make his point and makes sure it happens. Well, is the desire to be feared of so strong so as to kill people for it. When you see Aai talking with that passion to Khan about Maya, you wonder. Is it the absence of fear or is it the confidence of victory?? And what happens when you suddenly see it all coming to an end. What happens to Aai who thought nothing could ever happen to her son and suddenly she finds him trapped about to be shot dead. Shoot to kill…

What I really want to know is, what are these guys made of. And when I talk about “these guys”, I don’t just mean men like Maya but also men like Khan. Maybe it’s easier to be Khan knowing that you mean good. But, what courage does it take to be Maya. To aspire to be where Dawood is, to be him, to be the Underworld. Beats me!!!

Or is it courage??? What runs in your mind when you want to be Maya? To choose to be him. Is it the anger about something?? But how angry can you be and for how long can you be angry?? It has to subside some day. And then what… what when your anger subside… where do you find yourself???

I dunno how these guys work, but yes, I definitely am amazed!!! After all what are these guys really made of??

I see this fanaticism as a matter of "conditioning" just taken to a bit extreme. The entire environment is a very big influence.

continuous reinforcement of certain ideas, irrespective of whether they are right or wrong,is what results in development of such personalities.

A normal example of "conditioning" is the case for some people to whom a "party or feast" means non-vegetarian food compulsarily" while there are others who are strictly jains.

a better example of this principle is demonstrated in the recent movie "apocalypso"

Everyone of these has a story to tell..which somewhere brings in the hate that they have for their sufferings.....Films has got a large part to play..so does the rebel hero's of the past...these ppl wanna be like them...Human Psychology is such that it will look to imitate what it gets attracted to....so if i like the way the DON functions..i will aspire to be like him!

I dunno, but basically its all about the kind of environment one has been inducted into and the atmosphere.Take an example of a cricket or football ground for that matter. The ambiance charges up even the most conservative soul to rip off his shirt or induce a streaker to run through the ground. Its all a matter of influence of certain emotions which overrule any other rationale. Many of us dont even think twice before lying or even before cheating upon their partners. Is this not a part of what we term as a sin.It all is.Still we continue doing so.Rationales are never generic. They are particular and all ways plausible.
